The use of vacuum lifting systems in manual handling requires that a vacuum pump is used to generate the vacuum, and this vacuum needs to be directed from the vacuum pump to the vacuum lift tube.

The vacuum supply hose must combine the balance between low compression under vacuum and flexibility.
